A Bit About Me

Welcome, I am so glad you are here. I recognize the courage it takes to find the support you need. I am here to share a little about myself to see if I may be the right fit for you.

I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Intern (i.e. Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, or AMFT) working towards my licensure with the State of California. As an Associate I have graduated with a Master’s degree and am completing all of my hours all under the supervision of amazing clinicians (please find their information below). As an AMFT in the Livermore/East Bay area and in San Francisco’s Noe Valley, I work primarily with individuals and couples. My main focus with both the individuals and the family unit are working on life transitions, anxiety, and relationships. I enjoy working with individuals to help them recognize their own strengths and how they grow into who they are. I have a great deal of experience working with children and adolescents as well as young adults navigating various transitions in their life. And as a family man, I have knowledge and expertise on how family units can better work together.

Prior to joining these two amazing private practices, I worked with teenagers at a high school in Fremont, as an intern with The City of Fremont - Youth and Family Services. I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of races, ethnicities and cultures. As well as youth at various places within the LGBTQI+ community. As an ally to all causes and people, I have helped clients navigate struggles with who they are, managing stress as well as anxiety and depression from the world around them. Prior to going back to school to receive my master’s degree I worked within the Silicon Valley for a number of companies, starting with Google, venturing out into a number of start-ups and ultimately finished this stage of my career at Workday. Through these various stages I was able to hone my communication skills with others and constantly work with them to solve problems as we worked together and communicated effectively.

My approach to working with each client is based on individual needs. Through a collaborative session of us working together, we will identify the root of your issue, and work towards helping you move forward to continually grow and heal. Having spent over 15 years working in start-ups and in the high-tech software industry, I understand the grueling demands placed on the individual employee trying to excel in their career while juggling a healthy work life balance. I am here to offer understanding, support, and to help you grow and develop. Additionally, I have spent the last year working in an East Bay high school with teenagers and their families. Here we worked together to cope with the issues and stressors placed on teenagers in today's society in a therapeutic and safe environment.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids, going on adventures in the Bay Area, traveling, and being outdoors.

I look forward to speaking with you.
